Early last year my aunt and uncle reserved a room at Ceruti's, a full service catering company in Fort Wayne. Because the original plans for the reception hall were changed, they did not want the space to go to waste. So what better way to use the space than for a Halloween party?
My aunt and uncle invited family members and several of their friends and co-workers to the party. There was a lot of yummy food that Ceruti's catered like garden salad, potatoes, green beans, and chicken. There was also strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, and chocolate cake for dessert!
There were a lot of fun and creative costumes! People dressed up as Dr. Who, Honey Boo-Boo, a zebra, and the singer of Gangnam style!
There were a lot of fun games that my aunt organized for everyone to play. We played bingo and used candy corn as markers. There was a table set up of prizes that the winners could pick from, which included things such as candles, candy, and DVDs!
There was also dancing, a hot-potato game where we passed a pumpkin around (hot-pumpkin?), and cornhole! Overall the party was a blast and a huge success. Everyone enjoyed themselves and even left with a goodie bag filled with Halloween themed toys and candy!
